i have some doms from wed 2x leg day and today is going to be another HARD leg day...i was hoping to get some thoughts on either working through it as planned, doing a lighter day, or waiting one more day. im all gung-ho and wanna push it, not to mention i believe is isnt going to do any further negative damage, but maybe some of you with more experience with the issue can offer advice. i hardly ever get doms so im unsure. thanks in advance.

Keep going, muscle soreness doesn't need to stop a workout. Usually after the first few minutes the pain goes anyway as your muscles warm up.0

Muscle pain goes away, like Mokey said, within a few minutes. The day after, you can expect little to no pain. You'll adjust if you push through!0

I warm up really well, usually do some pilates and dynamic stretching, and then I push through. Usually it helps.0

I push through and the pain leaves !0

I warm up and work through it.0

so long as you've had at least a day of rest, push through.0

keep going as long as you are still getting what should be your rest days after 20 minutes it all fades away0

Yep was having major DOMS this morning from my shoulder/chest workout earlier in the week and was planning on just hitting cardio today but I geared up and did an 30 minute pressing movement routine to work through some of the soreness.... As long as it isn't an actual injury getting back to the weights in my opinion is the best thing.... Best of Luck...0

Big two things:
1) Plenty of rest.
2) Staying hydrated.
I typically feel good after about 10 minutes.0
