Calories burned on Treadmill by body weight/incline?

Hey guys!
How do you accurately determine how many calories you have burned on the treadmill? Mine does not have the option to enter my weight ect. I'm 39, 5'4 @ 166lbs, with a medium frame. Typically, I walk briskly at 4.0 for about 4 miles, with many short spurts of running at 5.0 - 6.5 MPH. I have been logging the calories according to what the treadmill indicates, which is usually 400-500 calories (12min/mile). Do you think this is accurate being 97% is being done on an incline?
I was reading around and found the following:
"The Average Woman
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as of 2012 the average American woman weighed 166 pounds. This means that the average woman burns 95 calories per mile walking on the treadmill, so she would have to walk about 2.1 miles for a 200-calorie workout. If she runs, however, she will burn about 120 calories per mile, meaning that she would only need to run 1.7 miles for a 200-calorie workout.
For the Smaller Crowd
If you're lighter than the average woman, you'll have to work out harder. For instance, if you weigh 125 pounds then you'll only burn about 71 calories per mile walked on a treadmill. At this rate you would need to walk about 2.8 miles to burn 200 calories. But if you run, you'll burn about 90 calories per minute. This means hitting the treadmill for a 2.2-mile run.
Bigger Is Better
When it comes to burning calories, you have an advantage if you're heavier. For instance, walking on a treadmill burns about 114 calories per mile if you weigh 200 pounds, so you only have to walk 1.8 miles for a 200-calorie workout. If you run you'll burn an impressive 144 calories per mile. This means you can burn 200 calories by running for just 1.4 miles on the treadmill."

I assume the machine will give you distance travelled, yes? Then you can figure it out for yourself:
Net calories burned walking = 0.3 * body weight in pounds * miles walked
Net calories burned running = 0.63 * body weight in pounds * miles run
Putting the treadmill at ~2% incline is generally accepted as making it roughly equivalent to running on a flat road.0 -
I see it has the option to go up to a 15% incline on this site. Nice! That gives me a good idea. I go up to 40% incline on some workouts. So, from what I am seeing, it's pretty accurate for the most part. Thanks!!0 -

Ok, so then my treadmill is overestimating too then. Oh well. Guess it don't matter too much as long as I keep moving. I was just curious.0 -
40%? I didn't know treadmills went that high! I usually do 3 or 4, but I go for an hour or more. I could do short bursts at a high incline, but my god, you must be in amazing shape!0

Not really. But def more than when I started a few weeks ago. Yes, the Freemotion incline/decline trainer. Goes from -3% to 40%.0
