How to kick my plateau!

I don't eat many carbs and i'm already totally gluten-free(for like 10+ years). Both of those worked wonders but i'm still not near my goal weight and I think my body has adjusted to not having these things! The only vice I still have is my coffee intake, and I have a gut feeling, I need to kick that too! Any suggestions on how to quit coffee or what else I could do?!

The best way I think is to wean yourself off of it. I tend to get caffeine withdrawal headaches if I stop cold turkey.

This can't be good because, in a way - i'm addicted to the event of going and then drinking it! When I don't drink it - I'm completely not productive. Maybe it's just a habit of waking up and getting it that I need to kick.

Coffee itself should not be a problem. Are you loading it with cream and sugar?

Coffee is almost no calorie so I am not sure where you are going. Perhaps you need to add gluten to your diet?

Unless you are drinking many coffees per day with lots of cream/sugar/flavoured syrups/other calorific things, then I doubt that coffee is your problem.

How long has it been since you've seen movement on the scale? What are your stats? Height/CW/GW/age, how many calories are you eating? Are you logging accurately (weighing and measuring your food) and consistently? Are you measuring your body as well as weighing?

    try calorie cycling.

or eat a really high calorie, high fat, yummy burger and surprise your body.

both of these things work for me, I'm not kidding, they break me out of plateaus.

This ... maybe just weigh and measure your food and make sure you are actually in a calorie deficit ... Simply cutting out certain foods, w/o being in a deficit isn't going to do much (as far as weight loss) ... When you cut out those foods originally, you probably put yourself into a deficit because you weren't eating such calorie-dense stuff ... Bread and pasta have more calories than an equal amount of vegetables ...

Coffee actually suppresses your appetite ...

Multiple coffees with all kinds of crap in them. Starbucks to be exact.
My scale hasn't moved in over a month, i've never had my weight be SO exact, everyday.
I'm eating approximately 1400 calories. I've noticed that my clothes fit a liiitttle better than they did but I think they could be my increased water intake.

Oh, I also only drink sparkling water, could this be a problem?

How's your fibre intake? Some people find upping the fibre a little helps get the scale moving again.

Are you doing measurements as well? How are they?

Yes, i'm logging them 100%. Most of my intake is from coffee and then two avg meals and a smoothie daily.
I drink a green smoothie with two cups of kale, two cups of spinach, a banana, some yogurt and flax seed. How else could I add fiber, a supplement maybe?

Measurements are still not what I want, and it feels like i'm bloated all the time.

It's really easy to drink a lot of calories without realizing it when you go to Starbucks. Both your waistline and your wallet might benefit if you cut back! If you must have flavored coffee, I'd suggest buying it and brewing it at home, or else buying regular coffee and adding cinnamon to the grounds before you brew it. If you have access to a Keurig at home or at work, some of the flavored coffee pods for those are pretty good, and the mochas and flavored lattes only come in at about 60 calories per cup (without milk). Flavored creamers aren't really too great for you since they contain oil and corn syrup.

When I go to Starbucks, I usually get iced coffee with no sugar and skim milk, a skim latte, or a red eye (black coffee with a shot of espresso). Once in awhile I'll splurge and get a skinny mocha. Use your common sense--go for skim milk, say no to the whipped cream, and try to get sugar-free syrups when possible.

It's hard to say without seeing your diary. Sometimes your Metabolism needs a jump start.
I've seen a diference when I eat more for about a week before dropping back down to my goal.
You can also try diferent exercises to see if that helps.

Is it the Coffee or the Caffeine you find you need? Would it be less calories if you switched to Decaff? How about replacing it with hot Green Tea?
Would it have less Calories if you used Honey instead of Creamer and Sugar? or tried another sweetner?
