Hi all,
I'm just stopping taking the pill after 17 years. Is my weight likely to be affected at all? How have others found coming off the pill? Thanks. :-)

Hi there!
I came off the pill earlier this year after being on it since about 14/15..long time!
I honestly didn't really find my weight was affected at all, though my skin went back to being teenage skin argh! I just had to stick it out until my hormones regulated, hated that fact that i was having all those "fake" hormones fed to my body for years! And i thought my periods would be horrendos but luckily they were actually lighter! Who'd have thought!
Good luck!0 -

Thanks very much. Yes, all those hormones confusing your body isn't great. I'll hope for a bit more weight loss then but won't expect it. :-)0
