I know how you feel.. I have them too. I don't think they'll ever go away but I think they'll fade.
  • They fade. The ones on my thighs used to make me so insecure but even I can't see them anymore. I think there are also things you can do to fade them like Bio Oil which I have to yet to try. I've heard good things about Mederma as well. But I do think they fade a lot when you lose the weight.
  • They fade a lot over time. I had really bad stretch marks in junior high school from a very fast puberty, bright red and wavy, and now they're a color just slightly paler than the rest of my skin.

To help your skin in general, I recommend drybrushing before showers ($5 natural bristle brush, light circular motions all over body to loosen dead skin,) then taking your shower/bath, and just after you towel dry you should rub in some oil with vitamin E in it. I'm not great at remembering to do those things, but when I do the results are basically instant.

On the areas with really bad stretch marks, you should try plain vitamin E. You can even buy it in a bottle with a roll-on applicator. I take vitamin E gel caps every day, and you can also just take one of those, bite/poke an end open, and squeeze out a small amount of the vitamin E onto your skin and rub it in. It makes the skin softer and protects it so it doesn't look as red, and over time it can help skin repair itself from stretching out (it's a favorite with pregnant women to rub on their stomachs.)

Bio oil is supposed to help but you'll never get rid of them totally
