You probably won't be able to lose a "last 20 pounds" in nine weeks; at least not in a healthy way.

The healthy way is eat in a calorie deficit and do some exercise.

If you lose the last 20 too fast you will lose lean muscle. Set your goal to lose .5 lbs a week.

Worked for the guy on the Twinkie diet.

    Not recommended though.

What people are trying to say is that there isn't a magic way to get there faster.

Set MFP to lose 1 lb per week. When you get to the last 10 lbs change to .5 lbs per week. Get plenty of protein (0.8 grams per pound of body weight). Do some kind of resistance training. Log accurately with a food scale and eat back half your exercise calories. That's the recipe for fat loss.

Probably isn't going to happen by Feb...as you lean out, it goes sllllooooowwwww......and should go slow unless you just want to torch your muscle mass.

Well, more info would probably help like what you currently weigh and what you are doing. All we know right now is that you want to lose 20lbs. No one is being mean -- just saying the obvious. lol
