it's gonna have to be chicken breasts then and ground turkey. If you can find them, Sommers Organic extra lean burgers have 25 g in each qtr lb burger and low sodium. Egg whites are an ok source as well, but I find it hard to stomach a large amount of them and each one has only 5 g.

any lean meat! I eat cube steak..not breaded or fried! chicken breasts, tuna, eggs...if you have say an omlet at some point with another protein in it that helps! I do love these protein shakes called Metobolic Reset...they taste great, but i see your not a fan ;)

as above, lean meats only really. tuna in a can is fairly high sodium as is cottage cheese. Both great sources of protein though.

Personally, I would just go with a whey protein shake (and I do :))
  • Whey protein is a natural derivative of milk. Its pure protein and a great way to not only meet your protein goals but to also recover after a workout. Not all whey is created equally though. Usually, the more expensive a product is the more natural it is.
  • Trader Joe's has a great protein shake that has 20 or 35 grams of protein for 110 calories. It's a great afternoon snack and they're pretty tasty. I like the chocolate one.
