Back Again.....

after so many attempts. I was doing pretty good in September but fell off the wagon when my mother in law passed away. We knew it was coming, but you never can prepare for something like that. It was one of the hardest thing I had to go through in my life and she wasnt even my mom. My husban was an only child and she was our neighbor. We saw her every day. My boys loved her, they saw her every day too. Needless to say we all took it hard......and I've just never gotten back into losing weight. This weekend I decided I needed to get in shape and lose weight. I won't to be around a long time for my husband and boys! So that is my motivation......

I'm sorry for your loss- it doesn't matter how old we get or how much time we have to prepare; we're never ready to lose a parent.

Also, it doesn't matter how many times you fall off the wagon- the important thing is to get back on. I think for most of us, this weightloss thing is a journey, and as with every journey, there are ups and downs, roadblocks, unforseen events which deter us; that doesn't make the end goal, or destination any less attainable.

Every day is a new day, a new opportunity to do better than the last. Cheers! :drinker:
