NSV - Oh Noes! No More Blood Pressure Woes?!

Whoa... For the last few years I've been on medication for high blood pressure - which is rare for someone of my age and was of some concern for the doctors. The meds presumably keep my heart from exploding or something, but have a crummy side affect of forcing me to pee a lot, especially in the morning.

On a whim, I tested my blood pressure this morning, when I take my daily pill for the condition, and therefore when I am least affected by it. It came back normal! 110/70, in the nice and healthy range!

I'm elated. It means that losing all this weight this year may have a measurable effect in reducing my health care bill, which in turn affects my life insurance premiums - my bottom line is that it makes life easier in one more way. I'm going to check with my doctor to see if I can get off these meds, or at least take a reduced dosage. Then perhaps, most importantly, I can get through the morning without having to take a piss every hour! AWESOME.
