I have just started adding abs to my workouts. I do a total of 100 abdominal exercises. I am wondering if it is okay to do this everyday, or if I should do this every other day.

My personal health coach says that unless you have abdominal or back injuries, the core muscles of the stomach can take being worked on a daily basis. I find that sometimes *I* want a break, but my tummy seems to be doing alright...

    HTH!

I agree with pbxr. Abs do not require a rest day but you might. I do my ab workout Monday through Friday.

Do you train your back that hard too?

I have been taught that abs can be trained often, I usually incorporate them into most workouts and do a specific ab workout twice a week - I love the burn! :)

Also a good point to train the back muscles in the core at the same time as they support the abs :)

Training your core is really important!
I got rid of chronic back pains when I had done abs and back training for a while.
