Change In Daily Activity Level For One Day

Ok, looking for some input. I have my activity level set as sedentary since most of the day at work I am sitting at a desk. However, tomorrow I will be out walking a site collecting some readings and carrying about 15 pounds worth of equipment. Would it be a good idea to wear my HRM to see what I burn while walking? It only happens every once in a while and I don't want to change my settings for just one day.

Heart rate monitors not suitable for walking I would allow yourself a few extra calories if you want to eat them and forget it. I recently did a weeks hard manual labour left my settings as sedentary and lost the extra few lbs about half a pound per day so for one day I would not worry about it.0
