Help.

Hey . I weighed in at 258 even on Thursday. I went out of town and went over from Friday to Sunday 1393 calories in total. I weighed myself just now after taking a bowel movement and I'm 263.8 do you think that's right ? I don't know. Help please.

    It's probably water weight, caused by excess sodium. You have to eat 3500 cals over maintenance ancestry to gain even one pound. There's no way you could have gained that much fat with such a small overage.

    Did you eat more sodium than usual?

    Weigh yourself in the morning. Be aware that you might go up or down 5+ lbs in a day. Keep track over weeks and months to track trends.
  • weigh yourself once a week same day and same time. best times are in the morning before anything. this will give you a better reading. i agree with jw dieter
  • That, my friend, is mostly water weight.
    Drink plenty of water and eat/drink natural diuretics.
    Coffee (caffiene), strawberries, grapes, broccolli, asparagus, onion all work.

    Just keep in mind that these things work to drop temporary excess water weight, but won't help too much with long term weight loss. But for this, go for it! I do it too and in a day or two I've peed out POUNDS of water retention.
