for my bodybuilders .

if your into bodybuilding you know all about bulking & cutting . my question is , is there a such thing as 'to much' cardio during a cut?? if there is then how much is to much

    Or watch any of Layne Norton's video blogs on Metabolic Damage/Adaptation. While not entirely about too much cardio but the combination of too much cardio with not enough food...

    There's no exact answer for how much cardio is too much. But if you're not a distance runner, anything over 60-70 minutes per day is likely counterproductive—especially if you aren't consuming enough protein or calories to support the daily caloric expenditure. In order to build or maintain muscle, you need to eat enough food.

    Testosterone drops, cortisol increases and you end up in a catabolic state. If you are needing more than 30 minutes a day a couple of days a week you didn't start far enough out and should consider picking a different competition date further out.
