My intro

I've been reading the boards non-stop over the past few days and would like to start chiming in so it feels like a good time to officially introduce myself. My name is Angie, married, 36 year-old mother of two girls (8 and 5). I'm just on week two of being serious about tracking everything I eat and making better choices. I had a nice loss my first week so hope to see the trend continue. I lost weight through calorie counting and exercise back in 2003. I made it to my goal of 135-140 pounds (I'm 5'4") and felt great. Like many, I gained weight with each pregnancy and never took it off. There was a certain shift I felt inside back in 2003 when I was finally successful after years of trying, and I feel that same feeling this time. I think the support I can get here will make all the difference. Looking forward to getting to know people. My diaries are public so feel free to offer any suggestions/comments. I've only been using MFP since Sunday so there isn't a lot of data yet.

Welcome! Glad you've had some good success out the gate - way to go!
I'm 47... for one more day. I have a 4 and 6 year old. Life is crazy but its worth it to be healthy and be around as long as possible for these kids.
We can do it!
