 I started with KettleWorx about 2 years ago (the dvd series) and had a rough time at 1st but got into the swing of it. I loved how you can burn so many calories in a short amount of time. My dr informed me that you have to burn at least 500 calories to lose one pound. Then i realized i was tired of working out at home and wanted to get out there but never like working out in a gym. Then my bf suggested we actually go to a class with a live body to instruct us but i was tickled because i just figured there were no such classes out there. Well i was about half right..lol Where i live there is a Kettle Bell Center just one about 30 mins from my house. These classes arent everywhere but for someone who doesnt really like exercizing i must admit i love these classes. They have basic, moderate, and what i call kick your butt levels. The instructors are awesome and the workout is intense i am always drenced in sweat and lose a pound with every class. I never thought a little cow bell could be so effective. I encourage everyone to give it a try. Either with the classes or with the dvds. This is truely an awesome, sweat drencher, that will have you superman/super woman pumped!

I figured she meant 500 calories per day to lose a pound a week.

For free online kettlebell 'classes', check out livefitrevolution.org. Though actual live instruction has got to be terrific.

That makes for sense  . I took some kettlebell instruction classes last year and it was challenging but very effective.
