Ok, serious this time!

I don't know how many times I've done this. Posted that I'm tired of eating like crap, feeling like crap and looking like crap. I just can't let my weight hold me back any more. And I think it is stupid to wait until the new years to start. Maybe I can lose 5lbs in that time frame. Please feel free to add me!     I got tired of listening to myself say that 'next time I buy groceries it will be only healthy' and when I got to the store it was 'well, not this week'. I'm going to add you as my first friend, because you sound like an awesome human being and I would love to share advices and little victories with you.

    I started at 165lbs, and got down to 132lbs simply by making my own dinners and lunches, portion control and eating a serving of snacks and not the entire bag. But now that it's down to the last 11-22lbs I need to get a little more organized.

    I always put people on blast when they say that they will wait for the New Year... hell I even do it on the ones that say that they will start on Monday when it is the middle of the week. WTH can you not start today??? Good for you that you are starting now.
  • That was my EXACT thought Sunday Nov. 17th. Last Monday I began to log everything and hit the gym. Guess what!? I lost 2 pounds already. Good Luck!!!

    New Year? My husband & I started in the end of February with a gym membership and it just went from there. It's now almost two years and I feel great. The timing was because of tax return money to get the membership LOL!
    Doesn't matter when you start just that you do it, don't put off to tomorrow what could be done today. Sounds like you could use a support group to help keep you on track. Feel free to add me as a friend.

    This goes for anyone that wants to make an adjustment to their body makeup... losing, gaining... whichever. And I will cheers you on eating hearty for Turkey Day... :drinker:

    Way to go being ready to start NOW. most Gain 5 pounds in the next few weeks. When you lose that - you'll be better off by 10 compared to many!!!!!!!
