Calling all my Coppertop comrades - ginger? redhead? auburn?

Hi I'm Mike I have ginger hair, and I heard a rumour that other people do as well.

And we're usually bellow even the Mexican wolf boys, in our hair popularity. So if you are of the redheaded persuasion & not a *kitten* please send a friend request. Just I never see many ginger faces in my friend list. I'm sure there are unfit gingers.

If you want to leave ginger hate leave it bellow.

P.S Gerri Halliwell, go away you are not ginger.

Brunette here but I am laughing at this post. My husband's a ginger <3

Major pet peeve of mine also, women with dyed red hair who are all "lookit me I'm a REDHEAD!!!" No you aren't. You have colored red hair which is fine but nope, it's not the same thing at all.

The word Ginger has roots in racist anti-Irish slang from what I hear. For better or for worse. I think it's funny how many of my super liberal friends who are the first to call things racist will say Ginger without thinking twice. :) haha. Only gingers can use the word ginger.

    Redhead here!

I am not a redhead, but my son is (and my husband was as a child). I just ended up with my dad's strong genes. (American Indian) my mom has dirty blonde hair.

    100% Ginge :)

Redheads unlike any other hair-colour seem to either be totally loved or totally despised through history. In some cases, adored for carrying the 'royal' genes, in other cases hounded as witches, if your interested in a brief history I would recommend the Little Book of Red Hair.

My dad was a ginger, my son is a ginger (day-walker, actually). I had strawberry blonde hair as a kid and I carry the gene, too.

    Am I in?

Hi! Used to be blonde, hair is slowly becoming redder in my old age. Feel free to add me :)

(I'm not a 'true' ginger I'm afraid - although my hair is naturally reddish, I lack the ginger eyebrows & freckles that characterise so many of us. Green eyes though? ...do I gain acceptance?! haha).
  • Ginger here with green eyes and freckles.............With two ginger children (and one non-ginger...pesky brunettes)...yeah really Irish..and proud!
