You know you are an MFPian when ...

When you have a heart attach when the guy at work tells you he ate a bag of Doritos for dinner (and I'm not talking the little bags, like the full size bag) and then you immediately look up the calorie count on MFP because your brain can't fathom that many calories for "dinner"
I eat bags of doritos for a snack. And whole pizza's for dinner. And I still loose weight.
See what I did there?0 -
one more thing i want to add...
When you have guilt after eating....
Nobody should feel guilt for eating, ever.0 -
When you are fluent in cat .gifs, sarcasm, and have a collection of "progress pics" hidden on your computer.
This.
Also you get defensive and argumentative when someone tells you about their diet and why it is sooooo much better than what you are doing (although they look way worse than you)0 -

When you can't resist looking at those before and after photos and are still shocked at how amazing, happy and healthy they look.0

When I do not feel bad/guilty about eating any food because I know I can log it here to keep an account and continue with life....:)0

Every time you hear or read the word "diet", that nervous twitch you developed (once you got past that 1200 calorie do-or-die syndrome) starts to appear again.0

When you stop correcting people on "lose" vs "loose", and come to accept you're going to see the same threads posted over and over and over and over and over again.0

<<<< I am sooo a MFPian lol0

When you want to teach your friends (beat into them) that the newest weight loss drugs and drinks and shakes and coffees are not the answer. Hard work, time and dedication is.0

When most of what you've learned about posting pics, gifs and vids on the interwebz you learned from fellow MFPeeps!
When you already know all the arguments for and against crossfit / insanity / biggest loser etc and can argue from either side of all of them.
When you stop looking at the scale and pay closer attention to PRs in the weight room.
When you look forward to new workout clothes even more than regular clothes.
When you cook bacon naked. On purpose. :bigsmile:0 -
- Its the first place you go in morning and last place before you sleep
- you want to track your workout in exercise diary and share with your pals
- you drink your water and keep tracking it without fail
- you mentally count calories other people are eating too
- you feel bad if you cannot log in your food diary
- MFP is the first place you share your weight loss even if its 0.5 lbs
- you try balancing your meals so you can enjoy a hearty dinner and still be under calorie goals
- when you buy something the first thing you check is calories
- you obsess over tracking everything you eat
- when your life changes for good
- when you don't miss eating junk food any longer
- when you start seeing your food as number - calories, carbs, proteins, fats
- you don't eat late at night, or you don't eat after completing your diary
- when fitness becomes an important part of your life
- when gallons of ice cream go bad before you can finish it
- you are completely honest with logging in your diary
- you cant sleep until you finish your diary
- when it becomes a part of life without you even realizing it
-you stop doing Biggest Loser themed challenges and start doing eat pizza/ice cream everyday challenges. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/16819-eat-pizza-lose-weight-easy
-instead of XXX messages, you get messages from people who are puzzled as to how you're losing weight while eating great food.
-you spend at least an hour a day on the forums explaining why depriving yourself is not sustainable.
-you have a go-to collection of cat gifs, also "no" and "this" pics to help in illustrating your stance in all the daily" sugar is evil" threads.0 -
When you are obsessed with seeing how many days you've logged in a row and are happy when it tells everyone every 5 days. Currently at 235 days0

When you have no patience for people in your FL who:
"diet" or eat too little
say "great job" on a diary that is UNDER 1200 cals!!! :grumble:
think 30 minutes of cardio is enough 2 or 3 times a week to get strong
starve then binge and feel guilty rather than dealing with the issues and making changes
just want to be skinny and are willing to sacrifice muscle and organ health :noway:
who count only calories rather than look at overall nutrition and health
people who keep their diary closed and just want constant WTGs when they push the complete diary button
ask for advice then tell you that you are wrong and refuse your advice
...I could go on. My fav friends are the lifters, runners, and people trying to make long term diet changes due to illness, food allergies, or other health crisis. I suck at diet and exercise, but at least Im working on it!0 -
