Foam Roller Substitute

So I'm in a pinch right now and I don't have a foam roller nearby. And since I'm a broke college student, I may not be able to get one for awhile. But my calves are ridiculously tight right now from all the running I've done lately, and I really need some sort of foam roller substitute. Any ideas? Preferably something that a college student would have in a dorm room, since that's where I'm currently at...

Tennis balls
ETA: Or maybe save up $30 for a Jfit foam roller from Amazon. (Less than $30 if you get the smaller ones). Or see if there is a gym at your college and if they have a foam roller.
Or google about building your own with materials from Home Depot or Lowes.0 -
PVC pipe. Something like this:

+ A Lacross/squash ball (depending on your geographical location) to get into your glutes.0 -
I use a bottle sometimes. Usually something like a soda bottle. I get Diet Tea from the store and those bottles are tall and thin and work perfectly.0

As soon as I get my hands on some money, I'll be making that. Thank you so much!
I just use a can of corn as a quick substitute and it was okay. My calves don't feel as tight as before, but they definitely need a little bit more. I don't think the can was wide enough.0
