inner thigh fat after running in cold

I did the Turkey Trot (4.2 miles) this morning in 20 degrees Farenheit, Near the end my inner thigh bulge started feeling very cold while everywhere else felt toasty. I got home and noticed that my inner thigh bulge was very red and cold. Maybe they were swollen too or it looked swollen compared to the rest of my legs. That area has been looking kind of gross since I have lost about 40 pounds. Meat just hanging there. No short shorts for me.

Is the redness after a cold run on fatty sagging skin normal? Has anyone else experienced this?

On a positive noteI did this run in 44 minutes 25 seconds. A bit faster than my goal. Yay! I can eat guilt free today.

Not sure about chaffing. I did wear thermal pants. I guess it was just strange to me how that area was so cold while the rest of my legs were warm. Currently they are not as red as earlier. I am thinking that since this is just a chunk of sagging skin/flab, that blood doesn't flow there as well and that could explain the coldness.

Fat is supposed to keep you warm, it was just doing its job. My butt is always cold even when my legs are hot on a cold walk or run.
