Aching 2 days later...

Does anyone else get muscle aches from working out 2 days later?
I used to get the aches and muscle stiffness the day after working out, but now I'm getting it 2 days afterwards.
It just seems a bit weird because it's new for me.
Thanks

DOMS, I'm usually minimally sore the next day but the 2nd day is always the worst. I'm weird though, I like it!0

For a particularly intense workout that challenged muscle, 36-72 hours later is the norm for me. The day after I am usually fine, days 2 it starts. Hope this helps.0

Completely normal......... Best of Luck0

yeah I tend to get it 2 days later rather than the next day0

Now that I have been doing Calisthenics, I'm sore every other day. The challenges call for you to do more the day before. So, now we are at 100 jumping jacks, 60 leg raises, etc. I haven't done those types of exercise since High school. :sad:0

When I restarted my fairly strenuous abs regime, it was about a week!
However for me it's rare that I'll ache after a weights session that I do regularly, even though I'm generally doing the heaviest I can..
Do find myself aching from decent running, even when doing it regularly.0 -
Yep - shaky jello the day after, pain kicks in the second day - 3rd day it's a nightmare to go to the toilet! Love it !0

Day 2 is always worse!0

It's always worse for me the second day. Recently, I took 3 weeks off from the gym. Went back this past Monday and OUCH!!! It's Thursday now and I'm still having a hard time getting up and down and even walking due to the DOMS.0

in for the t.rex arms and jello legs :happy:0

Work out in the morning before eating anything.
Try it before you argue with me in knee-jerk fashion.
I think you will be surprised.
@OP, it's normal and as others have mentionned, those are DOMS. They are quite painful and really a PITA.
I don't get them anymore unless I go a week without working out, some people get them others don't. Sometimes they will hit you out of nowhere (like that deloading week I had not too long ago... was very weird)
Don't worry about it, gently foam roll if you have one, epsom salt bath helps too
