Abs and callipers

I have been using callipers to measure myself since the scale is a lying liar and will fluctuate 2-4 pounds from day to day. My suprailiac and abdominal measurements are around 5mm and I still can’t see my abs at the exception of my obliques (but the appeared 8 pounds ago) and my top abs when I feel really lean.
If you use callipers and have abs, what measurements do you have? And do I have way too much loose skin to ever have abs?

You may just have abdominals that are not very thick or developed. If you look at mine they hardly show through, but I have a fairly low body fat. This is due to the fact I never really gave them direct attention since i began training a few years back.
Do you do any direct ab work?0 -
I did when I did a bulk but not since I am at a cut or maintenance.... at least not directly.
Edited to add that I also gave birth to 6 kiddos.0 -
They take time to build up, just like any other muscle. How long of a bulk were you on?0

2 months. Thank you. I might just have to add some direct abs work or just accept that I am not built that way0
