Does anybody have any idea how many calories in a 25ml single whisky?

I enjoy the odd (maybe 6-8 units per week) of Laphroaig single malt but I've drawn a blank trying to find nutritional info.

Cheers.

Alan.

The calorie content of Scotch Whisky is directly proportionate to the alcohol content. 100ml of Scotch Whiskey at 40%abv contain around 220kcal.

stick with the clear liquor.. It usually has less cals in it.. Even the flavored stuff.. Vodka, light rum, and gin usually have under 70 cals per oz..

    Hi,

Thanks for all the replies and apologies for wasting your time. I did search the database via the iPhone app and drew a blank. Have searched again and found stuff! Odd!
