Cant seem to stay on track :-(

I have great intentions of getting back on track, even bulk make my lunches so that I can plan ahead but I keep falling prey to the "odd" cookie which turned into 3 in 2 days (The Sainsburys triple chocolate ones) and give in to having a takeaway when I get home after a rubbish day at work and the hubby suggests it.
I dont really know why I am posting but just wanted to share my angst!

A couple of cookies and takeout once a week? That doesn't sound too bad, should be easy enough to make up for it with a little extra exercise. I'm sure you can still achieve your goal! Most of us -- myself definitely included -- indulge a little. IIFYM, etc.
Maybe it would help to keep healthier cookies in the house? I've never seen a Sainsbury's triple chocolate cookie, but… 386 calories each… I hope it's as big as my head! My favourite chocolate biscuits are only 95 calories each. (Arnott's Tim Tam.)

Satiable... They are about 6 inches in diameter and taste divine!
I just need to get myself into gear and get some damage limitation treats in. I just feel like lately Ive done nothing but eat... last week we had a pizza day at work, following day a client conference with a roast dinner and takeaway on the Friday. This week hasnt been ANYWHERE near as bad but Im still off track a little.
Lets just see what happens lol0 -
It is hard. I've had to pass up so many Free foods and goodies at work! I try and make sure i reward myself other ways, so i don't feel deprived. However, i also have my splurges in moderation0

That's an insanely large cookie. Why not just choose a smaller one?0

Everyone goals over their cals every now and then and has binged a few times. I didn't see if you were over your goals, though. But, I think that you can have whatever you want as long as it's within your cals.
Also, it's been my experience that people binge when they deprive themselves of something. Again, as long as it's within your calorie goals, I don't see why you can't have a cookie. I have a 'treat" every day and I lose weight every day (right now, anyway). And, I eat so-called healthy treats, like Quaker oatmeal cookies or Special K pastries. I don't feel like I'm ever going to binge on them because I know that I can have one each day. Try to find some healthier treats.0 -
These posts are annoying. :yawn:0

A six inch cookie is going to cause macro challenges for pretty much anybody on a caloric restriction. Being able to have "a" cookie is not the same as being able to have "any" cookie.
Stop with the glutonous portion sizes, and everything will feel easier.0
