Heart rate monitor/calorie counter

thinking of getting a gadget that can show what calories I have burned, any tips what to look for ? Don't want to spend a fortune though.

I have a Polar Ft7 for around $100, it does HR, cals burned and can be worn in the water0

mine is a Sigma PC-15 and honestly has been the best buy for me!
it cost me £30 and has my heart rate, training zones and calories burnt as just a few of the features. i dont work out without mine0 -

I have a Sportsline S7 very basic counts calories burned 30 bucks from Walmart. Also had few more models that did more and cost a little more.0

I have the Garmin FR60 which I would be lost without, it's my favourite ever present and my lifeline to keeping me motivated - it's a bit pricey but I use it daily (running, bike, gym, DVDs at home, golf, swim, walking, it's all on there), if not more than once and have done since 2nd May when I got it - that's value per use if ever I saw it!
