total cardio addict: help?

So, cardio is my coping mechanism. When things get stressful, I run. I also do other forms of cardio, like Insanity, or kickboxing. I end up burning 1200 plus in calories a day in cardio, and am totally in the cardio trap. My endurance is fabulous, and a 10 mile run in nothing for me, but I'm losing muscle. and my metabolism now sucks
Trying to catch a balance here.
If I do a lovely little strength workout like Jari Love every other day, what's a good balance of daily cardio?
I need some objectivity.
