Hi! I am a student living away from home (in a new continent) and I have no weighing scale or measuring tape. How then do I track my progress? I am only here for about 8 months and as a student, I can not afford to get a weighing scale!!!

You could use a tape measure, or maybe some goal pants and try them on every so often to see if you're getting even closer to fitting in them0

Im in Nottingham, I'll go to boots and have a look, thanks!0

Thats a good idea, thanks! I'll keep one pair of pants specially to track my progress!0

I would go with the measuring tape and check it once every 4 weeks. If you do the pants, only try them on once per month. Otherwise it can sometimes be discouraging.0

Even if you don't want to buy a measuring tape... all you need is a piece of string you can wrap around your waist and add a knot each time you lose!0
