Starving all day today= metabolism is finally revving up?

So, I'm on a special diet- high protein low carb sort of thing. I have been on it now for almost two months and have felt super full all day every day since starting it. But today, I have been starving all day. Everything else is the same- amounts of food, exercise, eating times.

Wondering if it means my sluggish metabolism is finally kicking into gear or if I'm just hungry just because I am today.

Thoughts?

Daily food intake usually looks like:

2 servings of protein (6 oz chicken, 4 oz beef, 2 eggs etc)
4 servings of veggies (serving is 1 cup raw or 1/2 cooked)
2 servings of fruit
2 carbs (1/2 a potato or 1 slice of diet 40 cal bread)
3 high protein snacks (extra 30-50 of protein)
1 serving of dairy (4 oz skim milk)

It might not sound like a lot of food, but I'm being medically monitored weekly and everything is going swimmingly so I'm good with it. Just didn't know if the hunger was a good or just random sign.

Or maybe I was in ketosis and got kicked out due to doubling my carbs yesterday? :o

    I suggest tracking how you feel for about a week. I get days where I am much hungrier than others.
