Music on workout videos

Why is the music so horrible on workout videos? Any suggestions on a good series of workout videos with decent music?

    I think it sounds like porno music :p I have not found one yet where the music doesn't suck :/ If I can follow along without the words, I will put the video on mute and put on my own music. I hope you fond something that works for you!

    As someone who has made an exercise television show, I can tell you exactly why it isn't great music. LICENSING FEES! It costs a lot to license music to put it in videos, so instead we use public domain music that is free so that we can keep production costs lower. If a company does license music for their videos, they often have to remix it so that it is the correct beats per minute for the activity so it doesn't sound exactly like the original either.
