Under what type of exercise would Beachbody's Insanity fall under and why is there no option for it under the list of exercises?

Most accurate way is to us a heart rate monitor.0

Heart rate monitor or log it as HIIT training0

There are a lot of different workout in insanity.. some of them I burn a ton and others I only burn a few hundred. I would log it as circuit training general over hi intensity. some of it is def. high intensity.. but some of it only had me at around 300 calories burned, even-though I swore I was doing high intensity. I also burn more calories running outside then I do on some of the work outs.. so keep that in mind too.
Also depends on the effort you put in.. On a bad day i'll burn half what I do on a normal day. I've had my burn for some of the workouts differ by 300+ calories.. All because I was tired or not feeling as well, so I didn't push as hard and did not burn as much.
TL/DR? Err on the side of caution.. go with circuit training0
