30 pounds gone ~ before & current pics!

Now that 30 pounds are gone, I thought it was time for some before/during pics (I tried to post these on my blog, but the images wouldn't work...). Today I went on a search for some groan-worthy evidence of where my journey began. Here's what I found:

Thirty pounds has brought me a LONG way. Today I took the time to try on a few pairs of jeans that I'd set aside to take to Goodwill. Size 20s. They were HUGE on me. They just fell off ~ my hips wouldn't even hold them up! By contrast, I put on a pair of 16s that I haven't worn in years and they fit PERFECTLY! WOW!! I'm so excited. And this is just the middle of the journey... :)

    WOW How motivating it is to see 30 lbs gone! I think for a lot of us we look at a huge amount we need to lose 50, 70, 100 lbs and it can be overwhelming! but to see what a difference 30 of those pounds can make is a huge motivator! And the thing is most of us have lost that amount and more at least once in our lives it is a great reminder of how what we have done before CAN BE done again! So what we gained it back yeah it sucks but we have the power to lose it again if we dig deep enough! Thanks for sharing! Best of luck on the rest of your journey! :flowerforyou:
