Raw almonds calorie question

Does anyone remember that almonds were discovered to be lower in calories and fat than previously thought? It was all over the news based on a scientific study awhile back. I just wondered why the nutritional information for almonds has never been changed! I find one ounce to be so measly for close to 200 cals! But if it were true that one ounce was only 130 cals, I would feel much better about eating them! Here is an article for reference:

What do you guys think? This is just one article" there were hundreds at the time - reputable news sources and it was on TV news as well! Please almonds, be just 130 cals an ounce!! I will keep buying the hundred calorie packs to really ration myself I guess.

I love almonds with such a passion that I think it's best I avoid them at all costs (even if they were 1 calorie each!)... I don't know if I can trust myself to not sit there and gorge on half a pound at once. Soooo damn tasty! Maybe I'll try it and pre-portion them into little baggies.....
