I started on MFP really well, went to see a nutritionist and between the visits lost 1 kg a few months ago, today I went shopping and omg, two ugly rolls of fat on my back are back!!!!!!!! I don't know what to do, I am totally desperate, I feel like a total loser... Should I go on a strict diet? I feel like I need to do it to push and punish myself at the same time for being so bad... omg, I don't know what to do.... help me people

I don't think going on an unrealistic strict diet or punishing yourself is going to help you. From my past dieting experience, any time I focused my weightloss around negative feelings I ended up eating worse and being unsuccessful.

Focus on the positives: you lost 1kg! If you managed that there's no reason why you can't get back on track and continue to lose weight. Ok so you don't like the fat on your back, try to focus on other areas of your body where you have lost weight. Use this progress to boost your motivation to continue to lose weight.

Don't let one bad day throw you off track for a week. It's the simplest but best piece of advice I've seen on these forums.

We al slip sometimes. Just keep moving and watching what you eat. Don't worry about the step back you'll eventually see the forward momentum.

I know how hard it is to stop the self-blame/criticism, etc....But, you have to keep telling yourself that you are a great person outside of your weight, rolls, etc! If you speak to yourself with kindness and encouragement, you will find much more motivation and willpower to get back on track and get healthy. Good luck :)
