This Has Really Knocked Me

I've been losing weight for 5 months now. Was 430 pounds and down to 300. Now, I'm facing high blood pressure problems at 26.
Went to hospital and they kept me in whilst they did tests. Confirmed the high blood pressure put me on meds. Took a blood test and blood count U and E was fine. Everything else was fine cept for my ALT which was 54. Apparently in 2009 I had same issues but never further tested it.
They took more bloods for liver screening. I havent heard anything since Wednesday when I was allowed out of hospital and I'm so worried they will find cancer. I can deal with fatty liver, I'll lose the weight. but I have to make an appointment with my doctor for him to chase up results which im doing tomorrow.
I'm just so worried its cancer

Don't assume the worst.... It is wonderful that you have been taking control of your weight. So focus on that, take a deep breath, and wait for your doctor to confirm what is going on. Meanwhile, stay on track. Let us know...0

Breath. Understandably you're worried, just remember to breath and take it day by day. Find things to occupy your mind so that you don't think of it. Go for an extra long walk or something like that.0

So glad that you've begun being mindful and improving your health. As Mpol2 said, don't assume the worst. This could just be more of a much needed wake up call.

I hope everything turns out for the good.
Congrats on your weight loss.
As somebody who has been dx with cancer and out lived his live expectancy. I assure you if for some reason it was C, the best thing is to catch it early as possible. Tests are a good thing when it comes to those things. My family doctor refused to run tests on me for cancer and it literally would of cost me my life.
Try not to worry, and continue doing a great job bud.0 -
I know easier said then done, but try not to worry. Keep irritating the doctor that's their job to answer your questions. Praying for the best.0

First off, congratulations on losing 130 pounds!! That is awesome!! Take your blood pressure meds religiously to avoid the risk of stroke and heart attack!!
As for being worried about cancer, did someone say to you that you may have cancer? I was told that I had bile duct cancer, but I didn't. It turned out that my liver enzymes were elevated that day due to the fact that I was getting sick. My liver enzymes were back to normal 10 days later when my primary doctor retested them!!
))))Hugs)))) and prayers for good news!!0
