Strong Lifts 5x5

Options
So my friend and I are starting Strong Lifts tomorrow. Does anyone have any pointers? We are kinda having to go at it on our own and we are from a tiny town and we have no gym with personal trainers. Since I work at the school we have access to the high school weight room.

in football we used always say tits out, *kitten* out.

sound derogatory but you have to keep that neutral spine.

squat - bend at your hips not your knees.

dead - narrow stance, over under grip, before you start the lift keep that back straight, pull with your legs not your arms

    good luck have fun!

I found that googling and watching videos of each lift helped a lot. A lot of them have great tips on form.

Great program and I've seen some improvements in my numbers. My advice is to add pull ups to your program to have better progress because the first month is practically a joke because you're lifting light weights to work on your technique. I'm about 35 workouts in and I'm going strong with my numbers. I'm maxing out at over head presses but I think its technique related. Good luck and feel free to add.
