Planning a destination wedding?

Anybody in here have experience planning a destination wedding? I'm pretty sure I know the hotel I want but I've only ever booked vacations through last minute vacation deals. Not sure how to book for a group and for an event. Thanks!

    I had a destination wedding in Gatlinburg, but it was a package deal, so I didn't have to worry about a whole lot. They had almost everything planned for me. Good luck!
