Food scale question

The serving size, as listed on the back of a box angel hair pasta, is 200cal for 2 oz. Here is my stupid question--is that dry weight or after boiled? If it is dry weight, how do people measure out a serving size when others are eating with you? Do you measure and cook yours seperately? Obviously if it is 2oz after cooked I can figure that out.

It's dry weight for pasta.
Nutrition labels are based on raw or dry weight. Food should be measured raw (like meats, veggies) or dry (like pasta, rice). Measuring food after it's cooked is not accurate because the weight can vary so much depending on how it's been cooked.0 -
If you're cooking for multiple people, just portion it out. You'll get about the 2 oz if you measure out 4 oz to start and split it between two bowls when you're done. Otherwise, the recipe builder on this site is really helpful.0

i have just cooked the box and then divided and weighed it after the fact based on the number of serving sizes that the label says are in the box. i think it ended up being like 4oz. cooked.0

I always double it. I think I read somewhere that pasta doubles in weight when cooked (I could be wrong) so I just double it. It's got to be close.0
