Do what you do with Ice cream sandwiches: Lick the edges until everything is properly secured.0

I don't make sandwiches anymore. I put my scoop in a bowl on top of my Pop Tart and make sure I get ice cream with every bite of Pop Tart.0

never heard of this before. it's beautiful. they should've sent a poet.0

Won't the tart break it you try to use it like a chip? I say stick the sandwich, and lick the excess.0

I'm not one for rules or etiquette for that matter. It's like this - bowl of pumpkin pie ice cream, break pumpkin pie pop tart into bite sized pieces and place in bowl with ice cream, top with reese's pieces and eat.0

I eat ice cream sammies broken up in a bowl like cereal. Biting into ice cream kills my fillings.lick it, lick it slowly.

Great ideas. There's always bacon bits and/or chocolate chips.0 -
Honestly, I thought Pop Tart ice cream sammies were just a thing on here; someone made one and passed it along in the group. I found out they're sold at Carl's Jr..0

This is just wrong.
It only uses one Pop Tart, cut in half.
A real Pop Tart Ice Cream sandwich should look like this:0 -
Make your sandwich early then freeze on wax paper for like half an hour.
Should help it set so it doesn't smoosh out0 -
I like it smooshing out the side. Then I lick the ice cream out from the side.0
-
Can't you just lick the sides like with an ice cream sandwich?0
-
I like to enjoy mine messy just like eating a burger with too many sauces.
But not toasting the pop tart helps (i like mine warm with the cold ice cream).
I heard of people sealing the edges with Nutella or peanut butter or candy. ( like peanut M&M's, so when you apply pressure they act as support beams) .
Pop Tart and Ice cream sandwiches back in the 90s, so they aren't a new thing at all.0
