Polar HRM - Battery - CR2025?

Hi there,

I need a battery replacement for my Polar Heart Rate Monitor. Are all CR2025 batteries the same? Or do I have to get it from a Polar store/authorized dealer (PITA!).

Thanks - been frustrating not having a HRM the last few weeks...and so hard to track down an online shop for the right part.

I'm not certain, but I am pretty sure you can buy these even at drug stores, grocery stores, Target, etc. I think that's a round/flat disc battery, right?

Edited to say that yes, you can buy these at most stores, and only a few bucks. I bought a few not that long ago for my Polar hrm. Really cheap on Amazon, but Staples should sell them, too.

You don't have to buy it from Polar. There is a little rubber gasket that seals the battery compartment from moisture that comes with the one you order from Polar though. You may or may not need it depending on how well the one you have has survived the battery cover removal.

I went to Target to find the battery but they didn't have any.
And the Wal Mart by me is sketch so I went to a Batteries Plus store.

Got the new battery and he changed it for me for less than 5$

The 2025's seem hard to find. I had a couple CR2032's sitting around (which are much more common) and it worked just fine. The 2032 is slightly thicker and will last longer than a 2025.

My Timex only works on CR2025s. I picked a couple up at Albertson's just the other day. Ebay is also a good source.

Thank you everyone!! Yes, I am sure I can find the CR2025 somewhere. Polar (Canada) is 9.99....add shipping 9.99. !! Glad to know that it is a generic disc.
