Having surgery - Question

I will be having surgery early in the new year and will be inactive for at least 8 weeks (no lifting more than a book-kind of inactive).
I am worried about gaining back some of the weight I lost in the last year and, more importantly, not being able to do any kind of weight training and/or cardio.
Do you have any words of wisdow, advice, tips for dealing with my recovering?
Thanks

I'm having a breast augmentation next week and I have some similar concerns. I'm just going to lower my calories and do some light walking until I can continue vigorous exercise, and worry about losing any weight after that.0
