Run Keeper or Endomondo0

Strava is great. Runtastic Pro is good too but not free.0

I like Runkeeper0

I use Runkeeper for the free training programs and syncing fitness activities with MFP (probably overestimated calories but I don't eat them all back anyway). I also use Sports-Tracker for the data analysis capabilities on the PC.0

I use MapMyRun solely for the GPS. It isn't a training app, but it does tell me how far I've gone and my mile splits. The calorie count is way off. I use it in addition to a Polar heart rate monitor.0

Just switched to Runkeeper from Runtastic for the free training programs and goals. I like both and they sync with MFP.0

RunKeeper is great, Nike + Running has been off since the last few updates. If you are a zombie fan, Zombies, Run! is a fun app, but it's a few bucks.0

Hands down, iSmoothRun is the best iOS app (in my opinion). Well worth the $4.99.
Main 2 reasons:
+ had a pedometer mode, so you can use it on the treadmill, Runkeeper and Runtastic (and I think others) require a GPS signal to use effectively. Some argue why you need an app while using treadmill, if you have a heart rate monitor, you will be able to track your heart rate with your tread-mill distance.
+ doesn't hold your data hostage. I export my data to Runkeeper, Movescount, DailyMile, MyFitnessPal, FitBit, Dropbox, etc. I can leverage all of these websites while using a single running app. Much easier than using one of the other apps and trying to import/export.
There are a lot of other good reasons to use it: 1) one of which (with next release) you can track your pace against the songs you were listening to while running, 2) track individual shoe mileage, 3) map colored by pace, 4) when it exports to MyFitnessPal it gets the timezone correct (when I tried Runkeeper, my 4am run fitness would be applied to 11pm the day before, so it was going on the wrong day) 5) if you have a hear-rate monitor it will use that in the calorie calculation, which is more accurate than the distance/pace calculation used by Runkeeper. W/out a heart rate monitor, Runkeeper and iSmoothRun's calorie calculations are the same...
It does have some down sides, but I do think they are similar to other running apps down sides: it will only work on an iPhone, will not work on an iTouch (I don't have a touch, be I believe that still to be true); it does cost $5, while others are free, there is now back-end web site to view/manage your data.
To me, however, it is the best running app. I have tried Runkeeper and Runtastic (pro version too) as well as sampled a few others. I'm a big fan of Runkeeper (I pay for Elite services). If I didn't have iSmoothRun, I would be using Runkeeper (instead of exporting my iSmoothRun data to Runkeeper).0 -
I use Runtastic and it automatically uploads workouts to MFP, which is nice.0

My vote goes to iSmoothrun - cadence feature is awesome too0

MapMyRun for me.
But can you tell us a bit more about what you want from your app?0
