Too tough to go it alone!

Hi everyone, I joined this group because losing weight and getting fit is a tough journey to travel alone. The winter months are hardest for me because where I live, it is cold and dark - and comfort eating/lack of exercise /holidays are tricky to navigate.

In the better months, I love to garden. I'm a bit of a foodie; cooking natural foods brings me great joy. I also love to juice during the months when produce is fresh. Unfortunately, my love of cooking (and age?) have gotten the better of me in this past year. I'm 35 pounds heavier than I've ever been, and it doesn't feel good.

My battle with weight has gotten me nowhere. I bounce back and forth within a five pound range, with no solid results. I need to meet others on the same journey so I can stay focused and feel less alone.
