Fat Fashion - Where Do You Shop?

Where do all you bigger ladies like to shop? I just bought myself an awesome sweater with gold dinosaurs on it and became way too excited over the find. What do you wear that makes you feel the most confident?

'I'm lazy since I am in college still and I hate having to "get ready" for the day, so I usually wear leggings, some form of boots and a sweater. I am obsessed with sweaters. It is sweater weather in North Dakota for 9 months. I like fun and goofy looking sweaters and just recently acquired one with a giant panda on it. I don't like ironic ugly sweaters.. I like kitschy, cute, and weird sweaters and I feel like a million bucks in them. Yes, this is weird, I know....They flatter my figure and they're fun.

I did shop at Lane Bryant, their jeans were higher waisted so the muffin top wasn't oozing over so bad and they were flattering.

I'm really short so I tend to stay away from jeans, I usually wear leggings or skirts/dresses. I just don't like the way jeans look on me unless I'm wearing knee high riding boots. I shop mainly at Forever 21 Plus and Charlotte Russe. I pick up random stuff at Target or thrift stores.

i'm a mix of a jeans, tshirt cool accessories + cute dress kind of girl and i'm cello/hourglass shaped so i generally stick to mod cloth, h&m, old navy.

a lot of my every day items like tees and tanks for layering i get from ON. i LOVE their rockstar jeans. i also have several dresses from there (they are pretty consistent with having wrap dresses). h&m is hit and miss because of the fit but i've been able to find some cute graphic tees, dresses, leggings and mini skirts from there. mod cloth is sometimes a bit more $$ than i'm willing to spend because of my weight loss goals but sometimes i can find a good sale.

i never liked the traditional plus sized stores like lane bryant and 7th avenue because the prints and styles have always looked and fit like they were made for fat ladies who want to hide behind tons of folds, ruffles and loud prints.

We don't have an H&M where I live, the closest one is about 4 hours away. I have bought some dresses from Plato's Closet (a "high end" consignment shop) that are H&M and I really like them...after a couple of years and several washes, they still look great. ON has been hit or miss lately, as always, their sweaters are adorable. I have such short arms though that I'm limited with them or else I get weird bunches.

I did not not know American Eagle had extended sizes online, that is so exciting. I love their jeans, back in the day before I was plus sized, I always bought their jeans because they are good quality and the short lengths are cut in proportions unlike most short length jeans.

Nope, bought it for myself. I just really like dinosaurs, always have. I don't take fashion too seriously, I think quirky things.
