Cellulite-- share your experiences

There are no right or wrong answers here because so little is known about specific triggers or treatments of cellulite.
Just looking for your personal input and experiences!

When did you first notice you had cellulite? Do you think it was a result of too little cardio, no weight lifting, a poor diet, too many calories? Or just genetics? Maybe due to rapid weight gain and weight loss cycles?

Where did/do you have cellulite? Butt, thighs, chest, upper arms?

Do you think anything has helped your cellulite? General weight loss, specific exercises, a change in diet?

I first noticed cellulite after I quickly lost weight, then put it all back on even faster than I lost it. I think it was a combination of factors, but mostly due to fast fat gain without muscle gains. I have cellulite on my thighs and right under my boobs.. which I think is a strange place. Haven't found anything to decrease its appearance, but hoping general weight loss and exercise will help!

Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences!

I don't remember exactly when I first realize i had it. I have it on my butt and thighs. I notices I have a lot loss since I started lifting weights, specially on my thighs, where I can see a huge difference. I do squats, lunges, deadlifts and leg curls for my thighs and butt.

    ^^

Lifting heavy has fixed it though :flowerforyou:
  • I never had cellulite before I gained a large amount of weight in a rapid time span. Now I have it from my knees to pretty much my mid back :(

Hoping it will diminish as I lose weight & build muscle with strength training.

Probably when I was about 20-ish. It got worse when I started running a few years back, which I thought was weird. Since I've lost weight healthier (smaller deficit and lifting weights, not as much cardio) it has reduced. It's more like lines across the tops of my thighs than dimples now?
