Sat Fat vs. Calories??

If I go over/meet my exact sat fat targets but I'm under/meet my exact calorie targets, will I gain weight?
Which is more important to focus on reducing: calories or sat fat? In school we were always taught that sat fat is the one that makes you gain weight but of recent years, I've been realising that a lot of the stuff they taught us in school was BS! I've gone over my sat fat a few times in the past week so I'm just wondering about the kind of impact it could be making on my weight, hence the question.
P.S I don't want to get into the whole 'how many calories should we be eating to gain weight' debate!

I've been told that you should have saturated fat in moderation, but I would presume (and people can correct me if I'm wrong) that if you stay under or meet your calorie target, you'll still lose weight. My sugar and monosaturated fat targets are always over each week, yet I've lost weight. As long as you're eating healthily and keeping to your calorie goal, I can't see why you wouldn't lose weight.0
