The New ME Diet

I just bought the book the New ME Diet. They have a website http://metaboliceffect.com/. I have not delved into the diet mainly because I am on a roll and losing weight by not being on a diet, just eating 3 times a day and working out hard. But the workout portion of the program seems to be very effective and they talk mostly about burning fat instead of muscle. The authors are Dr's who have been into fitness their entire life. I heard about them on the "cut the fat" podcast. If you search on Itunes you can find the interview they did with the authors. One nice thing is you can download a 10 minute workout for free from the ME website. I ordered the dvd. You can also download other workouts for 5 dollars each. They are 20 minute workouts. I can do them and I am a 58 year old grandmother. Also they recommend you walk 30 to 60 minutes a day. They give reasons for walking instead of other cardio workouts. Just thought others might be interested. I have lost 2 lbs this week, and it has taken me 2 months to lose the other 6 lbs I have lost. I had an ankle injury and was not working out or able to walk. I have worked hard to continue to lose some sort of weight. Finally I started going to the pool every day or water aerobics, now my ankle has healed quite a bit and I am able to walk again. Good Luck!
