What exercises would you recommend to lose about 3 pounds a week?

    Is that you in your profile picture? If so, you look very small to be losing 3 pounds a week. Why are you wanting to lose so much so quickly? You'd be much better off losing slowly, so that you can do it in a healthy way and maintain it.

    I doubt anyone here is going to tell you of any exercise that will take 3 pounds a week off someone your size. You shouldn't diet off that much, either. It's just too extreme.

    I think you look great already. Be kind to yourself and lose in a healthy way. :)

    3 pounds a week would be appropriate for someone who was extremely obese.

    3 pounds would be a ... 1500 calorie deficit everyday. Most (smaller) people can't come near that number. If you can come near that number.....you are likely sacrificing something......muscle mass.

    If you want to lose weight really fast.....get used to the idea of having the same body fat % that you have now.

    I'm hoping you are asking for a friend and not for yourself. Your ticker says you only have about 10lbs to lose and by your profile pic... you look to be at a healthy weight. So those last 10-15lbs are vanity pounds adn come off very slowly.

    1lb = 3500 calories. so 3lbs in a week would mean there'd need to be a 1500 per DAY deficit.

    So unless you are asking for someone else who is obese and has a lot to lose. your best shot would be to cut off a foot, hand, arm...etc until you reach your desired weight - but then that wouldn't be beneficial to your life.

    If this is for you - rethink the amount of weight you'd like to lose.
