Need Some Support! :)

Hey, All! Firstly I would like to wish you all much love, support, and success in your fitness endeavors. We'll all get there! <3

So this is a rant no one that I know personally understands, I'm an ectomorph so I'm thin naturally and have a high metabolism. I'm anemic which means fatigue, got mono years ago which leaves a lingering life fatigue, and I work 60+ work weeks plus I live on a pretty meager budget so buying food to be able to eat 2200 calories a day and bring stuff to work is strenuous.

I've been working out regularly off and on for the last 2 years. Two years ago I could do no push ups {I now do 5} could only do 5lb dumbbells {I can now do 10} and I have minor ab definition. Couldn't run a full mile still can't. But thats' all, after TWO years of hard work.

I look at all my friends loosing weight and they have been working out for 6 months and the pounds are shedding off they get tons of compliments {I'm naturally thin so when I gain muscle it's not a big deal and no one really cares or compliments} they could run for miles, they keep on putting weights up, they are making leaps and strides and I am getting no where and I work just as hard.

Ugh. It might just be my attitude but I'm getting exhausted lol.

In addition I'm getting over strep so I was ordered not to go to the gym for 2 weeks. Great.

Getting out of slumps is really difficult. Keep in mind that continuing to exercise will raise your energy levels. You should also talk to your doc about your iron levels. I didn't look at your food diary before I started posting, but maybe you need to raise your calorie intake. I'm always on the go between work and 2 kids, I so I understand being tired. Sometimes you just have to force yourself to push through. I have been at this for about 9 months, seriously for about 3. MFP says I'm down 3lbs, it's more like 9. However, like you, I have friends that log consistant loss each week. I've learned I'm not them. My body is different and somethings take time. Just focus on yourself and keep pushing through.
