I don't understand your question. Are you talking about 500 total calories eaten, or 500 net calories eaten, or a 500 calorie deficit? The first two would be bad, the third not so bad.0

Yes, you're still creating a large calorie deficit. Whether you only eat 500 calories and don't exercise or eat 1100 calories then burn 600 calories (this would be net 500 calories), you're still ony getting 500 calories in your body. You daily goal is to NET whatever MFP gives you for a daily calorie goal.
There is no need to starve yourself to lose weight! Eat food, get active, be healthy.0 -

No you got the question wrong.I was asking does cutting down like 500 calories from the total calories you eat a day like say 2000 is the same as burning 500 cals from the 2000 calorie you eat a day(no calorie cutting).Suppose if i want to loose weight which one should i choose?0 -

Either. Eating 1500 calories with no exerice, vs eating 2000 calories and exercising off 500 should yield the same fat loss. Though you'll likely look and feel better if you exercise, and reap all the health benefits that exercise provides.0 -
