The problem is most broke people can't afford to stock up when things are on sale really. That, and prices here are way higher than what you're quoting for a lot of things (72 ct tortillas for $3? Where?).0

The problem is most broke people can't afford to stock up when things are on sale really. That, and prices here are way higher than what you're quoting for a lot of things (72 ct tortillas for $3? Where?).
Those are sale prices. And as I said, prices vary by region. The 72ct tortillas are on sale at a chain grocery store in SoCal called Cardenas.
And if someone who isn't shopping savvy starts putting in more effort in the way I outlined, they could easily reduce their grocery budget by 20% or more. That 20% savings is where the stockpile money comes from. The prices I used are irrelevent.0 -
